These Terms of Service establish the legal framework for using Hawkeye EDS. We've worked to make these terms as clear and straightforward as possible while protecting both your interests and ours.
What We Provide
Hawkeye EDS provides AI-powered weapon detection and emergency response coordination services. Our platform includes threat detection software, the TRAVERSE coordination module, cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and ongoing support and updates.
We commit to 99.9% uptime for core detection services, alert delivery within 5 seconds of threat detection, 24/7 technical support for critical issues, and regular system updates and improvements at no additional cost.
What We Don't Guarantee
While Hawkeye EDS is highly effective, no security system can guarantee prevention of all threats. Our AI detection achieves 99.2% accuracy, but false negatives (missed threats) and false positives (incorrect alerts) can occur.
We provide tools to enhance security, but ultimate responsibility for safety remains with your organization. Hawkeye EDS should be part of a comprehensive security program that includes trained personnel, emergency protocols, and other security measures.
Your Responsibilities
Effective use of Hawkeye EDS requires your organization to maintain adequate network infrastructure and camera equipment, train staff on system operation and emergency protocols, develop and maintain emergency response plans, respond appropriately to alerts, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
You're responsible for ensuring your use of Hawkeye EDS complies with privacy laws, labor regulations, and other applicable legal requirements in your jurisdiction.
Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid for services in the preceding 12 months. We're not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or damages resulting from threats that occur despite use of our services.
This limitation reflects the reality that security systems are tools to reduce risk, not guarantees of absolute safety. We encourage all customers to maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
Service Modifications
We continuously improve Hawkeye EDS by adding new features, enhancing detection capabilities, and improving integrations. Most updates are applied automatically with no disruption to service.
We may occasionally need to modify service terms, pricing, or features. We'll provide at least 30 days notice of material changes, giving you time to evaluate how changes affect your organization.
